MyJPJ is a free smartphone application created by the Malaysian government. It allows registered drivers to access a host of services. Note that this app only applies to those who are physically located in Malaysia.
Users can obtain important information with just a few clicks, from accessing the latest traffic and weather conditions (similar to MyRadar to checking on the status of one's license.
Basic user services
As opposed to being forced to make telephone inquiries, MyJPJ is equipped to handle a number of questions. Some examples include (but are not limited to) any points associated with one's license, the existence of an outstanding summons, and queries regarding vehicle registration numbers.
Real-time guides
There may also be times when a driver needs to make an official appointment at the Malaysian JPJ (Road Transport Department). In this case, the app can highlight the closest offices, as well as other relevant metrics, such as opening hours and contact information.
